MEASURING FOR A FIREPLACE MANTEL: IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL FIREPLACE MANTELS are MEASURED by the top shelf part of the mantel (the longest part) and NOT the box/body part of the mantel. The body/box part of the mantel is usually 6-8 inches shorter than the stated length (measured at the top part of the mantel shelf and NOT the box/body part). We offer a variety of lengths, a variety of depths and a variety of colors. Weight Limitation: **The mantel shelf(s) should be able to hold approximately 40-50 lbs., if the bracket has at least one screw attached to a wall stud.
