These shelves run wide and deep; able to support bigger objects and larger collections. The large shelf’s depth is 9 inches – that’s almost the size of a dinner plate. The angled centerpiece adds more depth and room to the shelves. They are handcrafted in the southern area of the United States with 100% White Premium Pine/real wood. They are going to be around for a long time to come. The grain patterns within the wood are nature’s work of art! The stain colors highlight the grain patterns, and the clear-coat finish adds visual depth to the already gorgeous surface. Each shelf is constructed using a 2-inch front profile attached to the front and sides at the top edges which adds interest and character as well as a completed polished style. The front profile also “hides” underneath where the pieces of the shelves are joined. But rest assured, the underneath of the shelves is finished just as well as the top…we don’t cut corners or take shortcuts. I saved the best part of these shelves for last…they are the easiest-to-hang corner shelves available! No kidding! We have custom-designed brackets for each individual shelf and our method of hanging them is ingenious. No more guessing at leveling corner shelves…no more struggling with tiny screws lined up with tiny holes…no more spending hours trying to hang shelves in a corner just to find out that they aren’t made to actually “hold” anything that may have more than 2 pounds of weight on it.
