This is the third shelf I have purchased from this seller. It is advertised as a mantle, but I used it as a regular shelf to display collectibles. The shelf arrived in good condition (it was wrapped very well with pool noodles). However, the instructions said it was to include hardware (wood screws of different sizes) but I did not receive any, so I had to purchase the appropriate hardware before mounting it. It is a pretty sturdy shelf but I highly recommend mounting it to two studs if you can depending on how long yours is. It will give you that much more strength to hold whatever you plan to put on it (in my case, model horses, which can be heavy). The stain also matches my other shelves perfectly as I purchased those many months ago.
